A friend of mine was going to a San Diego chiropractor at least once every four to six weeks to get her back adjusted. It was not done in the exact same area every time, so she is always feeling really good. When I asked her how the adjustments are done, she explained about the quick thrusts that focus on specific areas of her back. I wondered if I could just watch an online video and learn how to do that myself, and she told me that it was nothing to mess with on my own.
It is not like getting a massage. You can go to a professional masseuse and get a deep massage, or you can get one at home by your spouse. Even if your husband or wife messes up the massage, it is not going to cause any damage to you. The most it will do is not feel good during the actual massage. However, the same cannot be said for trying an adjustment on your own. It can cause real pain, and it can also cause further damage to a person’s body. She told me enough to want to see what these adjustments are about, and also enough for me to seek them out the right way instead of the wrong way.
I went to her chiropractor, and I was simply amazed at how I felt after going there for a few times. I really could not understand why she went on such a regular basis until I did the same. It is something that you really have to experience for yourself, because I cannot even put into words how much better I feel now. I have more energy, and I am even sleeping a lot better too. I am going to keep having these adjustments done on a regular basis for me too.
